Living Healthy and Naturally
Free Earth Mother is dedicated to teaching some ways for wise, healthy and economical living and finding some harmony with nature. Also, we will be trying to impart some old-timey and homegrown tips, tricks and remedies that still work well in these modern times. You might even find some ways to save some money. There are many ways to leave a part of the modern world aside and find your mother earth.
Some would say we have become too materialistic in our daily pursuits. With that way of living, mankind may have forgotten the natural ways to health, peace and happiness. I feel that we may be able to get back in tune with ourselves and our planet through guided meditation. Many people swear by it, and I personally find it very relaxing and centering, and would recommend it highly. What about trying a mindshift for natural physical and mental health? This is also a recommended way to unlock the power of the subconscious.
Many people live in suburbs; a suburb gives you opportunities for not only convenience to the modern way of life, but also a chance to bring back some nature. Do you have a back yard? If so, plant something!
Plants are a natural and healthy part of the eco-system, whether they are for decorative purposes or for food. Growing your own fruits and vegetables is a very rewarding hobby. If we pay attention to what goes into the commercially grown foods we eat, it is truly scary to think of all the chemicals that we are consuming daily. By growing some of your favorites at home, you are really helping with both your and your family's health. Also, trees and shrubbery are homes for birds and other forms of wildlife. Watching the birds or squirrels play and scamper is nature’s TV, and there are no commercials.
Living in tune with Mother Nature can be a hotline to wisdom. Wisdom also comes with age and experience. That’s one good reason to listen to some of the old-timers. I really regret not listening when I was young, so I have spent years gathering some old-timey tips geared toward natural, healthy living.
One may find that tuning into natural living can be much more economical than trying to keep up with the Jones. Economics are on everyones' mind nowadays. Even small steps in a healthy, natural direction will save money and be healthier for both you and the planet. You know, if we have the means, it only makes sense to try to preserve our food (without chemicals). One way that comes highly recommended is to vacuum pack food for long-term freezing. FoodSaver has some great products! Check them out! I've been using vacuum packed freezer foods for some time now, and I've been very pleased with the results.
Please allow us to be your guide to a way of living that's healthier and more in tune with nature, no matter where you live or what your circumstances are.
